This is the most common question we get asked. The main difference is that our marquees are commercial grade marquees. This means they can be used regularly and for years if taken care of. Many of the cheaper versions will only last a few uses and the frames and material will deteriorate quickly, rendering them useless after only a few uses.

The cheaper pop up marquees are made from a much thinner grade of aluminum and the frame poles are much narrower, so they are not as structurally sound and often break quickly. You will also find the roof material is very thin and often rips when setting up or packing down after a few uses. Many of these retailers also don’t sell spare parts, so if you break something it’s often not possible to get a replacement part, whereas we stock spare parts for everything.

If you’re looking to use your pop up marquee on an ongoing basis, then it’s worth investing the extra money to get a product that is stronger and sturdier and that will last long term. You ultimately get what you pay for, especially with pop up marquees.

The thicker frames require more aluminum, so the cost is higher as more raw product is being used in the manufacturing process. The wider and thicker frames are stronger and will ultimately last longer.

Yes, we stock spare parts for all our marquees. If you break something, we can send you a replacement part. Parts are readily available and cheap.

Yes, we offer a range of pop up marquees for hire. This service is currently only available for our Sydney and Melbourne customers. We can also deliver and set up the pop up marquees to your event space. Please view our hire page for prices for pop up marquee hire. Branded Marquees are our speciality. We regularly print custom roofs and wall panels for businesses, sporting groups and government organisations. Simply send us your artwork and we can get a price for you. Turn around time is typically 10 business days. The roofs and wall panels can be interchanged if you currently already have a plain coloured marquee, they can be swapped over.
